416 Community Support for Women is open seven days a week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Breakfast is from 8:30 – 10:00 am. Lunch is served from 12 – 2 pm.
We provide drop in supports and crisis services to more than one hundred of Toronto’s most vulnerable women each day. We are dedicated to providing a safe, healing and respectful environment for women to thrive in their lives and have the opportunity to hope, dream and work toward a better future.
Our Drop In service provides an array of supports and programs to meet daily basic needs such as our meal program, making friendly contacts or to connect with staff to arrange for access to our medical clinic and/or our mental health and addiction case management staff.
Our food programs are very popular, serving delicious and nutritious meals for breakfast and lunch each day, as well as a weekly food bank. Wednesdays at 416 are known as Wellness Wednesdays, where acupuncture, yoga and meditation are offered as mental health and addiction therapy alternatives. We also have an array of social recreational programming, such as knitting, beading, art, creative writing and embroidery groups that meet each week.
